Thanks to the invaluable work of our media partners, VRT and RTBF, who have been recording the Competition’s performances for decades, our media library continues to grow into a true goldmine for music lovers. Historic audio recordings are patiently restored, digitized and brought back to life. These exceptional 1952 archives, previously hidden away, are now accessible to all who are passionate about the rich history of the Queen Elisabeth Competition.
We also added a few visual memories of 1952 to the album: a series of photos taken at the Conservatory, the Music Chapel and the Centre for Fine Arts.
Step into the past, listen online, and relive the magic of a bygone era!
