Concerts for our young audience with Victor Julien-Laferrière

22/10/25

Each year, the Queen Elisabeth Competition invites young people to discover the magic of classical music through a series of concerts in Brussels, Leuven and Louvain-la-Neuve. During these recitals, laureates of the Competition share their passion, tell the story behind the works they perform, and offer the audience a unique musical experience. For many young listeners, this is their very first encounter with this universe.

For the next series in March 2026, we have invited Victor Julien-Laferrière, First Laureate of our very first cello edition in 2017. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Pablo Casals, he will present a program dedicated to this illustrious cellist and composer. He will be accompanied by pianist Théo Fouchenneret.
