Are you a classically trained cellist aged between 18 and 30 years old and ready to embark on an international career? Then apply online now and do not miss the opportunity to shine amongst the best cellists of your generation! Applications will close on Wednesday 26 November 2025.


Deadline and entry conditions

  • The application procedure is to be done online on our website.
  • You have until Wednesday 26 November 2025 12:00 noon GMT to fill out your application form, to upload your videos, to add your administrative documents, and finally to pay the application fee.
  • In the rules of the 2026 session (pdf) you will find the entry conditions and the competition proceedings.

Attention!

  • In order to avoid application problems, we insist that you start uploading your videos well on time before the application deadline.
  • If you have problems with your application form, please contact us at least 48h before the deadline. The office of the Competition is open from Monday to Friday from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm GMT: mail us or call +32 2 213 40 50.

How to apply?

  • Before you can begin the process of applying, you must first create an account on this website. If you have already created an account on our website for a previous competition session, we invite you to use the same account.
  • Once your account has been created, you will be able to log in via this link. You can find this link also in the white footer of this website, in the column 'Connect/Log-in'.
  • Once you are connected to your account, click on "My applications" in your account to start your online application.
