On Saturday 23 May, Bozar will be the backdrop to VIVA PARTY!, a vibrant musical day for young string players of all levels. This initiative by BRYGGEN and JOWest brings children and teenagers together for a day packed with workshops, rehearsals and playing together.

The participants will work with professional coaches in different groups, learning repertoire - including excerpts from several major cello concertos that are always featured in the final of the Queen Elisabeth Competition - suitable for their playing abilities. The day will close with a celebratory presentation for family, friends and supporters.

VIVA PARTY! is for young violinists, violists, cellists and double bass players aged 6 to 18 years old. By registering for this day, you also commit to taking part in the preparatory process, which includes rehearsals on Sunday mornings on 1/2, 1/3, 29/3, 26/4, and 10/5 (each from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; exact locations in Brussels to be confirmed).
